Au Pairs

  • No criminal record
  • Be a Non-Smoker
  • Minimum Grade 12 Qualification
  • Minimum of 6 months childcare experience
  • Reference relative to your childcare experience
  • Valid drivers license
  • Have a reliable roadworthy car fitted with seat belts at the back
  • A first aid qualifications or child development qualification is advantageous

Nanny/Babysitter

  • Be a Non-Smoker
  • Minimum of 6 months childcare experience
  • Reference relative to your childcare experience
  • Own transport
  • A first aid qualifications advantageous

Tutor

  • Be a Non-Smoker
  • Copy of Matric certificate and if available print out of higher education subjects and symbols achieved to date.
As an Au Pair/Nanny you are entrusted with other people's children, it is very important that you treat these children with the same love and respect that they get from their parents.

SMOKING

NON SMOKING DECLARATION:

The vast majority of families have strong views on smoking. If you do smoke, but agree not to in the home of your host family, or when responsible for their children, then tick YES below. You will be expected to abide by your decision, so consider it carefully.

Once the completed application form is submitted you will receive an email requesting the submission of additional documents such as a copy of ID, Drivers etc:

  1. The purpose of the processing of the information will be solely Au Pair/Tutor/Babysitter Placements of suitable Candidates and will not be re-purposed.
  2. Failing to supply the required information will result in ABC Au Pairs PTY (LTD) not being able to proceed to find a suitable position/vacancy.
  3. Information will only be collected for purposes of verification and to match your requirements with a suitable position/vacancy.
  4. The information will not be transferred to a third party unless specifically requested.
  5. This consent covers the natural sharing of information that may be necessary, insofar it is necessary, between the relevant parties involved in the process, including:
  • The Family or institution of the position/vacancy
  • The Financial Institution
